Ending days of speculation about the future of the madrid striker Arjen Robben, the club announced the completion of a transfer deal with the bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.The Dutch striker has been transferred for an undisclosed fee but reports suggest a transfer fee of around 25 million euros (S$50 million) . Robben has reportedly signed a four year deal the German giants.

The 25 year old was rumored to be joining the premiership clubs Man u or Liverpool.With the departure of Ronaldo from their ranks Sir Alex was definitely looking for option to improve his teams striking capabilities and the arrival of Robben could have infused a lot of pace and energy in their play. Meanwhile Rafa benitez’s reds would have really hoped for Robben’s arrival to improve their standards of play and lift them from this dismal start to their season.
The Dutch was quoted as saying “ it all happened very fast. There were a couple of things I wanted to think over, but in the end I decided I really wanted to move to a huge club like Bayern“
