New Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti has made AC Milan’s Brazilian striker Pato and Portsmouth defender Glen Johnson his top targets. The Blues have bid £30m for Pato and have offered £12m for their former player Johnson.
From some source’s we understand Pato will be confirmed a Chelsea signing within the next 24-48 hours.
Regarding Johnson, other teams are interested with the likes of Manchester City, Everton & Arsenal. With Aston Villa midfielder Gareth Barry signing for Manchester City today, Aston Villa may also be in for Johnson.
