JOZY Altidore has been granted a work permit to pave the way for his Hull City debut at Chelsea this weekend.
The 19-year-old, who penned a season-long loan deal from Villareal last week, saw his application go before a six-man panel in London today.
But after a lengthy hearing, Altidore was granted permission to make his Premier League bow on Saturday.
Altidore has now reported for international duty with the USA ahead of their World Cup Qualifier against Mexico on Wednesday night.

Newcastle Right back Habib beye looks to become Hulls next signing, Paul Duffen has confirmed Newcastle have accepted a £3m offer for the defender.
Beye is thought to visiting Hull tomorrow to discuss personal terms.

Hull city are set to sign Jozy Altidore on whats thought to be a season long loan. Altidore arrived at Humberside airport around 10:30am this morning, but was delayed somewhat due to the heavy rain.
He was shown around the stadium and training facilities before talking personal terms.
Personal terms are agreed between all parties, and Altidore has signed on the dotted line. Although it is subject to a work permit, but given the International apps for the U.S this should not be a problem.

Spartak Moscow midfielder Radoslav Kovac is set to return to the Premiership.
Kovac spent the second-half of last season on-loan at West Ham United.
The Daily Mail says Hull City have joined the Hammers and Blackburn in the race to sign Kovac.
